The AVCWL Project Team put together national program of chats and discussions for Women's Online Week (WOW!) to celebrate the launch of the Virtual Centre. This was a national peak event for WOW! and the event was proudly supported by Online Australia and the federal Office of the Status of Women and hosted by the University of New England Rural Development Centre. The chats and discussions have now finished. To read the discussion go to http://www.nwjc.org.au/wowindex.html

What is it? Well, in Stage 1 the AVCWL is a unique, purpose built facility which makes it easy to establish and manage highly functional email lists for large scale community development purposes.
The Centre aims to help you and your communities, where ever you are in Australia, with your work to promote women's legal equality. We also aim to show the power of a community of interest approach in boosting women's uptake of new electronic communication tools.
