The Women Who Kill in Self-defence Campaign aims to address issues such as:

the inadequate level of support which women subject to domestic violence receive from some professionals when they seek help
the legal definitions of self defence and provocation and the inconsistencies in their applications
the limitations in the legal options available to women subject to domestic violence
battered women's syndrome.
